Punctuality should be made not only a point of courtsey but a point of conscience. The beginner in business should make this virtue one of the first objects of application. Let him not consider the ordinary duties of life in themselves of small moment, or that he can practice irregularity at intervals. Let him not conclude that if he should be behind time one day, it will not matter if he be punctual, by and by. Let him rather character the result of habit upon the mind and moral faculties. Have not all wise men agreed that, what force has in it, to unlash in the habit of tardiness in admonition. “Do it now”
